Syngonium ‘Red Arrow’

Richly colored and naturally expressive, the Syngonium ‘Red Arrow’ brings depth and movement to an indoor plant collection. Its arrow-shaped foliage carries saturated red and green tones, creating a dramatic accent that feels lush without overwhelming the room.

Young plants maintain a compact, leafy silhouette. As the plant matures, its stems develop a trailing or climbing habit that can be styled to suit the space.

Plant Characteristics

• Arrow-shaped foliage with red and green coloration
• Compact when young, becoming trailing or climbing with maturity
• Evergreen tropical foliage for year-round indoor interest
• Can be pruned to encourage a fuller, more compact shape

Care Details

• Care level: Easy to moderate
• Light: Bright, indirect light or partial shade
• Water: Water when the upper layer of soil begins to dry; keep lightly moist but never waterlogged
• Soil: Use a loose, well-draining indoor potting mix
• Humidity: Appreciates moderate to higher humidity
• Temperature: Keep in warm indoor conditions and away from cold drafts
• Pet safety: Toxic if ingested by cats or dogs

Avoid strong direct sun, which can burn or bleach the foliage. Wear gloves when pruning if you have sensitive skin, as the sap contains calcium oxalate crystals and may cause irritation.

Styling & Placement

At smaller sizes, its saturated foliage makes a striking accent on a desk, shelf, or plant stand. As the stems lengthen, allow them to trail from an elevated planter or train them upward along a small support for a more architectural display.

Place it in a bright living area, bedroom, or office where it receives filtered light. Keep it beyond the reach of pets and young children.
