Pothos ‘Neon Queen’
Product Description
Pothos ‘Neon Queen’ brings a bright, marbled note to an interior. Its trailing vines carry green foliage with lively chartreuse variation, adding movement and color as the stems grow.
Plant Characteristics
- Trailing growth with green and chartreuse-variegated foliage
- Leaf pattern and brightness vary naturally from leaf to leaf
Care Details
- Light: Bright indirect light is best for variegation. It tolerates lower light, but color may fade. Avoid harsh direct sun.
- Water and soil: Use a well-draining potting mix. Let it dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Overwatering can cause root rot.
- Humidity: If the air is dry, a humidifier or pebble tray can help.
- Feeding: Feed every other month during active growth; skip feeding during winter dormancy.
- Pruning and upkeep: Trim long stems to encourage a fuller shape, wipe dust from the leaves, and watch for mealybugs or scale.
- Pet safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if chewed. Keep it out of reach; ingestion can cause mouth irritation, drooling, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing.
Styling & Placement
Let the vines trail from a shelf or hanging planter where they can receive filtered light. Keep the foliage beyond pets’ reach.
